How to calculate decking boards
Method: Board rows follow deck width ÷ (board width + gap); total length includes waste
- Set board direction before measuring row count.
- Use actual board cover width plus the designed gap.
- Compare total lineal length with available stock lengths and joint layout.

- Gap: 0.005
