Privacy

Vaelden is local-first. Projects, favourites, preferences and saved recipes are stored in your browser using local storage. This release does not send those records to a Vaelden server.

Exported backup files are created on your device. Anyone with access to an exported file may be able to read it, so store backups appropriately. Clearing browser data can remove locally saved information.

Analytics and external services

Vaelden uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views, visits and site performance. Cloudflare states that this service does not track individual visitors. This release does not include advertising trackers or account sign-in.
