How to calculate concrete blocks
Method: Blocks = net wall area ÷ nominal block face area × waste allowance
- Calculate wall area and subtract measured openings.
- Use the manufacturer’s nominal module including mortar joints.
- Schedule bond beams, lintels, corners and special units separately.

Using these planning inputs:
